Because (almost) nobody lives there. So nobody cares, and nobody bothers to make them accessible to the public. Probably the only people that genuinely want the information are high-level meteorologists, and academics.

The forecast is extremely unreliable, weather down there can change in an instant.
There should be open sources for current weather though, I've used them a few years ago.
