I want to buy a tumeric that has a nano formulation.
"Nano Curcumin is around the size of 45nm, while biological absorption channels of the body's cells have the size of 200nm. Therefore, Nano Curcumin absorbs quickly and completely, providing a much higher efficacy than Curcumin, which has a particle size of 250nm."
It is claimed that only 3 percent of curcumin taken is absorbed into the cells. If the particle size is too big for cells and needs a nano formulation for 100 percent absorption, how does the 3 percent from normal tumeric extract get absorbed then? I'm not a scientist, but I know tumeric has helped with my head aches if I take it for at least two months, and this product claims that 250mg of their nano formulation is equal to a therapeutic dose which is usually around 10g. Am I wasting my money, or do nano formulations really absorb 100 percent?
