Is there not a process to capture and convert the carbon in the atmosphere on a mass scale?
Into something less energy dense than trees, just enough to capture from the air. Faster and with a smaller footprint than trees. Could this not be an addition to every coal/gas power plant and written on as an efficiency loss? Could it lower the efficiency of a power plant from 55% by only say another 5%? Is there something about co2 that makes it very energy draining to break apart? Would this not solve global warming?
