add-on: the scientific method is describing a technique, not what is a science, or what is science;
the method, the experiment, is equal to the derivative of theory;
the basis of theory is physics; the derivative is the description, the steps therein contained
there are only two things, ever: matter and energy, or mass and acceleration, or state and behavior, or love and fear, or toward and away, or you and someone else -- even if all else is one and you are one yourself
physics and mathematics are two things. derivatives are like too many cooks to a broth.
