>>11403926A good chemist can be a god tier EE if done right, since chem knowledge is required for electroplating which is how most computer chips, batteries, LCD screens, and similar are made. It's easy to get electroplating jobs with any sort of 4-yr college education too, although it is absolutely filthy work (the sort of work where forgetting PPE immediately leads to accidents).
