ok /sci/, if yer so fecking smart then riddle me this:
Take a plain slider with 0% and 100% as its extremes. These denote the probability of an event A occurring, after you're done setting up the slider. If event A should not occur, a new event, named B, will happen instead. You wish for an event to occur, but you're not certain if that event is the slider's event A or B. Should you:
1) set the slider to 50%
2) set the slider to either 0% or 100%, picked at random
