You've got some erosion on your hip joints, right looking slightly worse than the left, but nothing too substantial hipbones look slightly de-mineralized near the joints (like osteoporose, but I might be wrong on that one) also did you hold a fart during your x-ray?

I cant tell you much more because that's just a close-up od same image and I'm just a technician without that much medical knowledge.
You can wait until some actuall doctor comes into the thread or you know, go see legit licensed doctor

Thanks for your help. I really don't want to go see another doctor, its just too much of a hassle. My doc says there may be a hairline crack in the hip bone. He gave me some meds but its not doing shit for the pain.

well that will be impossible to see without actuall high res images
do you by any chance have a cd/dvd with your images on it, that you could open and get better images?

well tough luck then pal I doubt anyone will help you with those small ers pics
and if it really is hairline crack you cant really just walk it off, not when it happens in area like hipbone, reduce walking and other movements to a minimum for couple weeks or it will get worse (if it really is hairlinecrack, but your joint doesnt look bad enough to cause any substantial pain

xrays show us problems with dense tissues like bones.
It won’t show us damage to muscles/tendons/ligaments/etc. So it’s very likely you did injure some of those but we can’t see that. The good thing about those is that you don’t do anything for those injuries.
Of course it’s going to hurt, the pain meds you’re given aren’t supposed to make things go away, they are meant to make things bearable.

Also, for the other anons reading the board. Here’s a funny inside joke that docs have for radiology scans: throckmorton sign. Look it up. You’re welcome haha.
