Who knows. Like, fundamentally they could do routine arithmetic differently... something as simple as a different base and typography. Or instead of counting in 1s, they add multiplicatively. Maybe they don't even count linearly, but in polynomial relationships, and they swap out general functions to measure/count things as easily as we use units to measure things.
