it's not really a meme since it's already clearly underway. It's not going to be scifi smart house that predicts your every move like >>11398697 says, but you can already put together complex morning routines involving dozens of connected devices through a voice command. For example I have a routine that turns on lights at human-realistic intervals when I'm away on vacation. I use smart plugs to turn on a sound system connected to a record player so all I have to do is choose the record and put it on. Think closer to everyday conveniences, less about turning your life into the Jetsons.
