If the Big Crunch had merit I might not really worry. It'd be an infinite cycle, still beyond complete human comprehension, but a loop has some sort of satisfying logic to itself. But the known Universe started at an infinitely small and dense point, and is going to expand forever until Heat Death, doomed to spend the rest of "time" in death.
Not only does reality not make sense, but why is this the state reality finds itself in? A beginning we can't understand with an ending that we can.
