>>11393289>Where does human energy go?Some of it leaves you as heat, your corpse cools off to ambient temperature, the rest of it is dispersed by a variety of processes such as decomposition and scavenging from carrion animals or digestion by plants and fungi. All of the "energy" in your body that wasn't electrochemical or thermal is stored in protein chains, calories, lipids, etc and that energy is consumed by other creatures or your body's own bacteria to fuel their life processes.
As to some kind of survival of consciousness, it can't be known because the living body is the only vessel through which consciousness can observably be expressed. If your mind does live on somehow after death, it does so in a way which cannot easily be detected and verified.
