please help me decide, /sci/.
I have the option of choosing between applied physics and aerospace engineering as my future choice of study.
I'm more interested in applied physics, but i'm worried about the employment opportunities after i graduate. after all, aerodynamics is pretty interesting too.
What should i choose?

Aerospace doesn’t have good opportunities either since you have like 3-4 big places you can apply for to do aerospace work. Go for mech or electrical if you do engineering, otherwise do CS + applied physics since it will give you an edge for experiments and application. Focus on some theoretical CS though, but go heavy on numerical analysis, randomized algorithms, etc.

Physicist who's doing a PhD in aerospace here.
With aerospace, you can pretty much apply at any engineering company. Many of our students end up in automotive or general engineering companies.
Applied physicists I know often ended up in semiconductor or laser industry.
