Anyone on /sci/ work for a startup, either now or in the past?
Considering leaving my job to join a startup (not some "tech" read: software development startup).
Company was founded in early 2010s and is opening a new division, putting together a new team. Same/similar industry as I currently work in. Would require a significant geographical move (as did my current job).
Is a startup worth it? Will I have a job in a year? What kinds of experiences has /sci/ had working at a proper science/technology startup? I'm not yet 30 so fine with taking some risks, and getting tired of no professional growth despite consistent recognition as a star performer.
