How does a load i.e(car's body) gets attached to a wheel axel without locking the axel or causing friction ?

Do you mean roller bearings ? That's cool and all , but how was it done before industrialization.
i thought i understood how a car works but i realized that i have no idea , i don't even understand how a wagon works.

Because wheels are round M8. The force it takes to lock the wheel is greater than the force it takes to rotate it 0.00001 degrees.
Yes, more load means harder to rotate (more friction against axle), but ALSO harder to lock (more friction against ground). Stick a pencil in a CD or something and you'll see that it keeps rolling even when you push down on the pencil with your hand.

Before roller bearings it was a steel on steel ring. When kept greased was good enough for wagon speeds. Some types of wood are very resiliant too.

Imagine this but with both the holes and the ends of the pencil being square and fitting each other perfectly thus locking each other together, instead of wheels rotating on the axle, the axle and wheels rotate together.

Cut out semi-circular groves that fit the circular axle and use some animal fat as lubricant or something of the sort, there is no way to "eliminate" friction, you can only mitigate it. If you think of one of those hot wheels cars where the axle is hugged by a piece of plastic and the axle simply rotates within the plastic while the body of the car is attached to the plastic piece.

Thanks , i thought it might be that way but i thought to myself that wood rubbing aginst wood would be too much friction.

I've benn thinking these days , if i were transported to antiquity , what can i do with my knowledge ?
Turns out that even if i know how to calculate somewhat fancy integrals and calculate forces on a point like object, i have no idea how anything actually works !
I have no useful knowledge whatsoever ! Fuck school !

This is a great and valuable insight, however the last part isn't necessarily 100% true. A master chef doesn't necessarily know how all the chemistry of cooking works. And a master chemist isn't necessarily a great chef

Some designs had a wheel of significantly larger diameter of the axle and very thick grease, almost a solid. Leather washers were used to seal the unit. Good question. I will try to learn more. Think half the guys itt think things are simpler than they are. I know that I found roller bearings to be a lot older than I thought and originally made from wood.

That is why it is called suspension. Body suspended from ropes or straps. Some chassis were more ridged but animals' harnesses were not. Rawhide were in between parts to prevent breakage from shock. Modern suspension predates automobiles.
