I have a discussion here with a friend. The problem is as follows:

I move at 15m/s and shoot a arrow straight forward. The arrow if shot from a stationary position travels at 100m/s.

How fast does the arrow travel if shot from the moving car?

My friend here says it would fall almost straight down.

I say it would travel at 115m/s forward. Whos right here?
