Anons, what is the best book to teach a comp sci undergrad what heat and physical entropy are?

As an aside, I am having trouble understanding omega - the number of possible microconfigurations. How can this number be finite when any particle can be in any one of an infinite number of possible positions? How can entropy be measured?
