Here is medical model.
Patient comes in discusses symtpoms.
If "minor" symptom or insurence->give the most basic of perscriptions.
If perscription doesn't resolve symtpoms then return and go to next step higher.
Adress side effect of emerging symptoms.
Consult "product knowledge base" amd give the faggot a print out of the wikipedia entry for influenza.
If dr is not confident,.order tests. And confirm everything you already knew.
Pay for serious operation but wait all those bullshit previous dr. Visits and tests broke your insurence amd now you gotta pay out of pocket.
Or suffer slowly until you die.
Dr's are supposed to diagnose illness first and foremost,
all the chemists, anantomists, etc... are the ones that provide tge treatment.
We just trust dr's to be the one to doll out the answers.
Diagnoss is based off of symptoms that the patient expresses. And treatment involves resolution of symptom, if more pop up then its a "seperate issue".
given theres reasons why they do that mainly straining of resources and being "wasteful when going overboard" .
Its very vulgar but he motto of medical model is "whatever works, and i will tell you what works"
Theres alternative models for healthcare but most of them are buzzwords to trap more patients of administrative labrynth.
