I should start by saying I don’t know a lot about chemistry, or science in general. I have a friend who I meet up with from time to time. We were at a party at the other day and we began talking. After a while the following conversation happened:

>“hey anon, are you intrested in doing something cool?”
>ok
>“do you have citric acid at home?”
>I do
>“ok, do you have nitric acid?”
>I don’t but could probably get it
>“just mix em together”
>ask him what happens
>he just smirks and walks off

I’m not a total fucking retard (I know not to mix bleach and ammonia) but I can’t seem to find anything online about mixing the two. Likewise my friend isn’t evil or malicious and we’ve known each other for a long time.

Anyone more proficient in chemistry than me? Thanks
