I have distinct evidence that excessive masturbation is actually a detriment to one's body and that it only leads to further harm. Sure this is going to sound “anecdotal” but I’ve figured that whenever I’m constantly jacking off, let’s say 3+ per day - 12 per week; I feel a sudden drop in my test through lower back pain. Now, one reason for the pain to be present was that my lifestyle pre-gym was sedentary, however, post-gym for two days and jacking off for 4-5 times didn’t have the same impact on my lower back than if did before, which proves that weightlifting does boost test. Regardless of that fact, I’d say to optimise your test, it would be best to abstain from masturbation unless it’s sex, though after my two experiences I did feel a drop in T
