How close are we to not needing females anymore for biological reproduction? Here are the 3 vectors I can think of that we need to check off before this can happen:

1. Production of egg cells (I think this is achievable using stem cells)
2. In-vitro fertilization (we already do this)
3. Artificial womb (I believe people have already done this with a lamb calf, though I haven't looked into it at all)

What are all of your thoughts on this? This could be a great advancement in medicine and mankind, making the reproductive process much more efficient, successful, and safe.
