>>11379308>skeptics as closed minded mainstreamersAh yes of course, because doubting the orthodoxy of the church in the 18th century (as the sceptics did) was TOTALLY mainstream. And it made them close minded too! Because open minded means chowing down on whatever shit the church puts in front of you, according to you!
Also this bit is always hilarious:
>SCIENCE IS A RELIGION!If that's what you think, why are you implying religion is a bad thing? Yet you're religious yourself? Lmao you moronic faggot.
Also, I wasn't raised religious, not at all. My childhood was as absent of religion as any childhood could be. My parents never once in their lives mentioned "god", they were focused on their careers. So no, I'm not an atheist because I've rejected a religious upbringing.
I do think that the moral ideas of religion can have some value, like sticking with your family, perservering like Job did, whatever. But I suppose I'm intelligent enough to realise that you don't have to take an entire set of ideas completely. Take the bits that you think make sense, then get rid of the bits you think are unfounded. But that sort of mental work is probably too much for you.
