These studies talk about how the issue is that: the HIV GP 120 sequences replace 4 out of the 5 vital amino acids in the spike protein of nCov. Despite this major change, it is still able to infect ACE2 receptors, which means it is probably bio-engineered. These sequences are all replaced by sequences from the GP120 protein found in HIV, which is what allows it to enter the CD4 receptors and infect the T cells. That's what HIV does - but nCov is airborne.
