if the universe is infinite and simulations of the universe are possible therefore there is an infinite number of civilizations doing an infinite number of simulations but a single "real" universe, so we have an infinite odds at being in a simulation, no? another assumption is that sentience is possible in simulated people but that's a philosophical issue
