I saw this post on /pol/ and it really got me thinking.

I'm not a biologist or anything, so I can't really speak much about it other than to say that it makes sense to me.

Can somebody with more qualifications chime in and either confirm or debunk this?

Look I'm not a racist like the OP, which is why I said "humans" in the title.

I'm just curious if this sort of rapid change in temperament is something that can also happen to people

It would explain so much, as well as in part validate our otherwise deplorable criminal justice system

I did some digging and this experiment has been replicated multiple times and it always ends up with the same result

I dunno about selectively tamed but I do think humans were deliberately engineered. I'm always pointing to the examples of the cheetah and the hummingbird, which are two animals that look like deliberately created genetic hybrids.

I don't think so because humans have a far more expanded cognitive capacity than animals and are capable of consciously restraining their impulse towards violence and logically reasoning through it.

I get that "nurture > nature" has become a popular meme, but is there actually any evidence for it?
Because there seems to be a shitload of evidence for it going the other way
