However it's way more infectious so hospitals get overwhelmed easily and bam, people are dying on hospital floors.
Outside of Hubei province, the mortality is about 0.3% which isn't too bad at all.
In Wuhan, it's >4.3%.
Obviously in Wuhan, lots of patients are getting no or shitty treatment because not enough doctors, drugs have run out, beds are full....all the usual stuff.
Literally nobody in a 1st world country has died because they're 1 patient in a hospital and they get everything they need. Only a few dozen people have died in the rest of China because they're getting good treatment too.
The quarantine is just to stop every other city in China from turning into Wuhan.
