I wear shin high rubber boots, and shin high socks.
I'm a hairy person and noticed that the hair on my legs stop mid way to my shin. Almost like it's been trimmed.
My theory is that the constant friction of the socks and boots have loosened the hairs. Not enough to blister or scuff, but a gentle constant wearing away.
Now, the stereotypical image of a balding man is one that wears a hat to cover the balding. We think first the baldness, then the hat. But what if the hat preceded the balding? That the constant friction of the hat loosens the hair.
Gentlemen, thoughts?
