I'm 30 and have been here since i was 17. My particular hypothesis right now is that 4chan ceases to be relevant once you've outgrown certain life stages. For most norm people it means getting a steady job, finding a partner and settling out so that most of your time is actually spent at work, with other people and or doing life errands. But if you are a bachelor without significant social contact, you remain essentially at the social development stage of a college student, with only a job (if at all) putting you at a slight advantage. Just look at Tooker--guy is like 40+, single, unemployed and basically just NEETing up on disability and spending a lot of time on here.
In other words, you can potentially remain here for as long as you live so long as you find yourself in a similar position as most of the other userbase which is college aged, dealing with college-aged transition phases. It's not about age, but ultimately, mentality.
