It's like the old Columbo or Murder She Wrote cases where there's some signature on a piece of paper that's a clue, and someone says, "But the signature is an exact match!" and then the detective goes, "Ah, but that's the point! Signatures always vary at least a little bit, and the only way this signature could be exact, is if it was copied!"
The nCoV was deliberately engineered, taking a splice of the old bat coronavirus, and adding it to the new engineered version. There's no other explanation.
And yeah, OP, your examples of the results of this nCoV are pretty frightening and useful for a bio-weapon, for sure!
