is alcohol making me dumber? Im not an alcoholic, I just drink 1/2 times a week and I drink enough to come home moderately buzzed. Is there any study?

Why not stop for a month and see how it affects you? Come up with some tests (video game scores, reaction time tests, etc) and see if there's a change.

I've been drinking everyday since 2015 until late last year. Not much, only evenings, but 3-4 european beers, 5-8% alcohol content. It demolished my once photographic memory and fucked up my guts.

It is very slow process, but yes it makes you dumb.

However this is not worst. At some point you get paranoia like state, your emotions will change, you will be different person (and not nice to be with).

Alcoholism has such effect on people. So you may lose friends family, job.

Decided I'd give up alcohol almost entirely this year friends. I was a quite heavy drinker for the last two years. Will I notice better grades, and can I make back the brain cells that I've lost?
