Can /Sci/ please tell me why i can't do lucid dreaming. Have tried dream journals, shape visualization and the wake up 6h after sleep begins. None worked, the shape visualization one gave me sleep paralysis. Any suggestions?

The sleep paralysis almost gave me PTSD, happened 6 months ago, still fear going to sleep.

Yeah that's a thing i wouldn't wish on Stalin. It's fucking horrible. I couldn't move and then i saw something slowly opening my bedroom door and creeping to my bed at like a hunting cats pace. Then i woke up with scratch marks on my arm and in a cold sweat. I still can't explain why it was so fucking terrifying.
