Can you get into science if you are 25 and not really good at anything?

I spent my entire youth searching for something I'm good at while playing video games at the side, only to find that I'm generally incompetent. I'll struggle with whatever I decide to work on or study, might as well suffer for something mildly cool... The only thing that sort of interests me is science, though it means I'll have to re-learn math from scratch and push myself through uni.
Are there stories of men who have gotten into science in their late 20s - 30s?
