I don't care that much about astrology, it just brings me an uncanny twisted sense of righteous satisfaction to see you dimwitted tools get owned. It's like watching a stupid, traumatized, previously caged animal finally have its brain start to turn on. Only unlike that case, where the satisfaction comes from rightness returning to the world, the satisfaction comes from being to laugh at you, kick you a little bit while you're down and have you understand why. scientific means you have a proper theory and empirical data to back it.
asking dogs how they are feeling then correlating it to stars positioning without a proper explanation of the mechanisms and the why and how, isn't scientific.

Science does not require an explanatory mechanism. You can find out that something seems to work without knowing how. Was Newton full of shit because he couldn't explain the mechanism behind gravity?

This just sounds like the old "electric wires cause leukemia" data mining scam. You collect enough data, you can ID spurious correlations. This is why predictions are so important.

Sounds like they looked for correlations between 60 pairs of traits. They found 2. Might very well be random chance (similar to p-hacking)
