how can I cure Hallucinogen persisting perception disorder (HPPD)?
I abused LSD and weed in my teens and because of that my vision is really fucked up. Apart from visual snow I see all kinds of things, weird spirals in the corner of my eye. light "burning" into my vision for a few minutes
I can't live like that, sometimes I'm scared of driving because of this shit
I really wish I never took acid because not only it fucked up my eyes but also my brain, it showed me the truth but not the truth I wanted to see

Hallucinogens fuck with your vision. A friend of mine did so much shrooms at the age of 12 that one time he went temporarily blind. He said he just sat in a corner for hours. Any time he opened his eyes he just saw nothing.

Ive been trying to lucid dream for a few years now

Sometimes i manage to induce a lucid dream state while observing hypnagogic imagery before i fall asleep
Its similar to what you described
I focus real hard on hypnagogic hallucinations (which are all natural) and if im lucky and super duper focused, and a right amount of tired and drunk - those hallucinations can slowly start turning into images, memories, then eventually into a whole dream enviroment.

The point being, i would kill to have that disorder. The kind of life i lead, i dont see how it could pose a problem.
If i had intense hypnagogic imagery every night it would really improve my meditation and WILDS (wake induced lucid dreams)

Try doing a WILD OP
Research about them

For starters, just get up extra early one day, and go back to sleep immidiately.
Lie on your back and focus only on your breathing and your HPPD visuals
Do not move a muscle - you can only be still and breathe and watch the light show
After about half an hour you will feel like you will explode but dont give in, resist the urge to move, scratch, or open your eyes

If you cant cure it, try to use it to your advantage
Theres no better insight into your psyche than meditation
Also start writing down your dreams every time you wake up and remember them
To remember them more vividely, theres a simple trick - when you wake up FREEZE
Dont move- just use all your focus on trying to remember what you dreamed just a sec ago

Also sometimes when i meditate, an answer to a question i had days ago will just pop up - like your subconscious is working extra hard during meditation
These are all my experiences and i have no reason to lie about them.
Ive been doing all this for many years and i still consider myself a begginer. Unfortunately i have ADD so most of the times, my meditations are wasted because of my lack of focus - but when i do it right its a magical, religious experience, that will refresh you afterwards.
If you have good focus, then what are you waiting for

I'm no armchair psychologist, but here's how I think you should cure yourself: stop thinking that you or your immature, idiotic brain on drugs could possibly come up with something deep or meaningful, or even correct or reasonable. Ignore the stupid shit the drugs told you, start using your brain for something useful. Read a fucking book (an academic textbook, NOT A FICTION BOOK) and if the hallucinations get in your way download it and listen as an audio book. If that still doesn't work your acid was probably laced with poison and you should see a doctor to confirm that your situation is hopeless and you need to just give yourself a hard reset, you degenerate fucking drug addict.

The only positive effect I had from shrooms was that I actually became a better person and more motivated in general because I fell in a kind of trance-like state where I would see memories from my past and such to the degree that I cried my soul out how much of an a-hole I was. After this, I also started learning more and got into physics and maths. So to speak, at least my personality changed to the better compared to before. But I never saw any "truth" or whatever BS drug addicts kept talking about. It was the last and only time I ever took drugs. After this, never did it again. And definitely won't. I am happy now with what I have. Don't wanna lose all of that because of another trip or poisoning like OP.

Without a rabid sense of wonder I would be 1000% less productive, so any decrease in competency is fine as I'm still far above the general population in ability as well as my decrease in intelligence(Doesn't occur for me until I forget words, which is far beyond where I typically would go) does not outweigh my increase in production.

Nah, honestly I don't really mind it unless I'm trying to do fine work or pixel level stuff. Although I must say the beauty of the night sky is... different, and overall, fairly diminished. However The horizon at dusk and dawn is quite beautiful, I like the static in those smooth gradients and up against the high contrast of the ground and the sky.

OP, this happened to me. After nearly a decade after cessation of all drug use, besides alcohol, it went away. It was a gradual decrease over the years until I realized one day it was just gone completely. Try not to think about it. That makes it worse. Just tell yourself "Oh well nothing I can do about it" and try to move on, for the meantime. THC can bring it back, so unfortunately you probably shouldn't use any Marijuana again.

I can strongly relate to this. Took a tab and sat with some friends watching them discuss stuff while I tripped and I could see very clear patterns of dispute or coalition, and how the argumenting went consistently for or against others based on how they felt about them or their ideas or who they wanted to confront/impress, and not on the actual logical content of it. After reading some of Haidt's and Carol Tavris' works, that was, in a way, so evident that I coulnd't even bring myself to the discussion. I was merely amazed by how stupid everyone is in just such blatant ways, though it also goes by unnoticeable.

This perception stayed after the trip, and is still quite easy to see after all this time. It has been the clearest change for me since I first took LSD, and talking to people hasn't ever really ever been the same after it.

I must say it has helped me read other people several other times too. At first noticing all of it was honestly just too much for me, I coulndn't even maintain a steady pace in a conversation; but with time I developed the ability to ignore it, kinda. Alcohol makes oblivious to it, which sometimes is great.
