Nature had 3,5 billion years to "evolve" organisms. For example, it produced a nice tomato plant.

Now when humans finally emerged from the dark ages (from about 1945), they took this tomato plant and increased its yield by 40% in 3 decades. (The yield was actually increased by 160% but 120% of that had to do with artificial conditions e.g. fertilizers, pesticides,...).

What do you say to this? Nature is powerless before us.
