Geospatial Science / Surveying

No.11361077 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Geospatial science is the perfect mix of vocational and theoretical work encompassing computer science, geography, physics, property law and construction - working outdoors to take spatial data using specialized equipment and then compiling it in an office. It has above average projected job growth in Australia, reasonable working hours of 40 per week, average pay of $90,000 a year, short and long term pathways (can do either 2 year diploma and advanced diploma or full 5 years doing a bachelor's and master's) and you can travel all around the world doing it.

Why aren't you a Geospatial scientist/Surveyor yet, /sci/?
