Redpill me on teaching high school, seems to pay as much as any wageslave lab job you can get with a masters, but you get a lot of vacation time.

I gave a talk at a high school once, it was awful because you could tell that maybe 10% of the students were actually listening to what I was saying. Combined with the shit pay and general disrespect from parents, administrators, and students I think I'd rather kill myself than teach high school

Sounds comfy. I'm 6'3", lift, and have a laid back/go fuck yourself attitude. I couldn't care less about students/people, they're just fodder to be used for economic exploitation.

I'm just looking at the vacation/free-time as a way to do what I want in life/make money (Investing, real estate, my own personal business that I have going on right now).

BS in science is worthless. Need to learn how to weave stories. It's the sad truth of almost all academic fields. It's why so many peer reviewed papers ended up being just wrong.
