If the apocalypse were to rain down on the civilized world, let's say it's the classic four horsemen that bring pestilence war famine and death everywhere, would uncontacted tribes eventually repopulated the earth? Would it take hundreds of years, thousands, or tens of thousands? Would the remains of vehicles and buildings jump start the development of a primitive people that discovers them, or would they become religious icons?
