sure they aren't great at building aircraft carriers or nukes or anything, but they sure as fuck don't have to bust their asses like americans and rich euro countrypeople do. OTOH we have this gigantic capitalist military-industrial complex based off taxes and debt and war. if you love it fine, but you have to admit that simpler life paths aren't "wrong" or inherently "worse" by comparison.
