I want to know if biomedical research economically compete with palliative treatments?

Individuals with distressing tinnitus, peripheral neuropathy, fibromylgia, and other agonizing diseases complain that psychologist and psychiatrist dominate every aspect of the treatment field. The NIH spends millions on palliative treatments but doesn't seem to give a fuck about biomedical research and regenerative medicine. However there's still hope thanks to big brained biomedical scientist. In example: There are papers on pubmed about regenerating cochlear hair cells, regrowing peripheral nerves, performing organ transplants, and targeting immune diseases are their core.

America already has very skilled biomedical scientist that do have the ability to put their scientific discipline into action. But they have to go through FDA red tape and lots of regulations unlike the psychologist and psychiatrist who can practice their clown therapy straight outta school. I

CBT, and other popular palliative therapies by psychologist seem to be an industry of their own.
