Humans are designed to walk and run, not stand around for hours. It is worse for your body than sitting all day (increased foot pain degradation of joints, reduced circulation, etc.) Just do an hour or two of cardio everyday to stay healthy instead of falling for a desk that preys on health conscious retards.

Between standing and sitting, standing has a longer lifespan than sitting. Basically, if you sit down you die earlier and the more you sit the quicker you'll die.

Programmer here.
I need a standing desk because if I don't have one I will get back pain. I will stand for the first hour in the morning and one hour at noon.
I also have a stepper below my standing desk. I would like to use a treadmill but I don't have money for it yet.

I'm sitting at home nursing my grandma and I'm programming an apartment configurator in unity for a company. I haven't seen the university in years and I've bought bitcoins years ago so I actually don't have to work if I don't want to.
