Does anyone here understand Langan's CTMU? It sounds like Category Theory, almost.. I don't really get it.

Of course, all experience with the universe outside of ourselves is mediated by our consciousness.
I would need to read more in depth to see how he shows that reality has properties self-awareness.
Of course, while being a theory of everything, it isn't usually what people have in mind, insofar as it describes the universe but can't really be used to make predictions (not that this is necessarily bad, as he says, as such theories could never be proven to be accurate reflections of the true reality, aka the problem of induction).

reading this really lowered my perception of this theory. he's basically saying he's using his own evolutionary made brain logic to determine the nature of reality. no it doesnt anon. this is him just paraphrasing the science of logic. it is honestly very far from langan’s own thought. keep in mind that all these movements hegel is doing is to show the incoherence of lower categories and that the absolute is the only thought that doesnt lead to contradiction. hegel is also arguing that thought as long as it enters the proper speculative mode should always be able to start from a judgement and lead up to the absolute. this is also how hegel plans to attack noumena, for to even make a judgement on them means to predicate being and boom, thought goes through all of those dialectical movements again.

langan meanwhile isnt doing that. his main plan if attack for dualism presupposes way more than being. for one it already presupposes that we can actually create a consistent model of the ‘external world’, and based on this assumption some. isomorphism must be drawn between the structure of our own processing and the structure of reality itself. he dismisses noumena by saying it just reduces to an ‘unconcievable concept’ which he thinks to be nonsensical

IMO i think both are makibg a grave error that folks like bernhard riemann underatood back in his habilitation lecture and recently speculative realists. namely, we can reason about thinks without relying on phenomenal intuition
