I don't have a kid yet.
But I'm wondering about what to do if I do get one or five.
Schools teach basically nothing important till the last year of high school. But you have to get through it to get to university where actual learning takes place. And there are social skills to learn at school even though nobody really bullies you in the real world like they do at school. Schools feel absolutely useless except for the math I guess.
What would you teach your kid on your own? You need to utilise their ability to learn which is wasted at school.
Medicine and other stuff is locked behind university and perhaps isn't something they should study before they have to.
Computer science is the only thing which comes to mind because it prepares you for stuff that doesn't require a degree. It's a skillset that's useful to have.
