Of course, that's how most people get it. If not directly, then they get the flu later because their immune system was fucked up from the injection (and other injections they received earlier).

It's interesting how "getting the flu" is very much a USA phenomena -- the country where they are absolutely religious about "flu shots", no? And in countries where there is no such thing as "flu shots" in the USA sense, "the flu" is also non-existent.

I am apart of a circle of friends whom all swear up and down that the flu comes from the shots.

We are all uneducated (in terms of what's the norm around here) plebs though.

There are a few types of vaccines.
One type makes use of live, weakened viruses. This type of vaccine can cause disease, but usually only in people with weakened immune systems.
Doing some quick reading, it appears as though the modern flu vaccine is of a different type that uses heat or chemicals to inactivate the virus. For this type of vaccine, there should be a minimal risk of disease.
I am not sure why certain vaccines are made certain ways. There are other types of vaccines, too.

There have been studies showing an increase incidents in respiratory infections after flu shots vs those who were not given flu shot. I am not sure about shedding, but I do know when my sister had cancer people who have been recently vaccinated were not allowed into the ward because of shedding

Live attenuated vaccines can give you disease but it’s relatively rare and almost always less severe. The nasal spray flu vaccine is live attenuated. And the timing just happens to line up like it was the same time as the vaccine. If you get your vaccine super early in the season I can almost guarantee you wont get the flu right after the vaccine.

It probably wasn’t just people who had recently been vaccinated. It was probably unvaccinated and recently vaccinated people. Because the vaccine takes time to be effective and you can still get and transmit the virus for a while after getting the vaccine.

But all flu shots are different. Every year they try to predict which strain of the flu is gonna break out the most and that's what everyone gets. Most of the time they're right, tho I've heard from a nurse yesterday that this year it appears they did not. Too early to tell, but the spike in cases suggests it's gonna be a bad season for those of you faggots who take pills for any little thing.

It's because of the education system and holidays in the west.
We cram a bunch of snot nosed kids together in a building in the fall. And then the holiday's come around and everyone takes their local version of the flu across the country to relatives who have no natural resistance to this new strain.

i have not found any statistics about this but from a normal observation almost all the sick are not vaccinated and those that are and "got the flu" had muchmuch mildersymptoms and became normal much faster
only statistics i found is that 1500 people die of flu (mostly young or old tho) every year and none of the dead were vaccinated
