So I'm participating in a clinical study and my blood was examined last week. It turns out I have a platelet count that's way too high. Fortunately they're having me come in tomorrow to test my blood again before the next testing stage (when they stuff me into an environmental chamber full of ragweed)

I need a solution on how to lower my platelet count. I don't suppose drinking a generous amount of water before I take the test will help? Keep in mind they're only testing for platelet count
