What Engineering major does the most math and physics. I've looked around the internet and the consensus seems to be Electrical Engineering. What's /sci/'s opinion on this?

You can specialize in signals or machine learning if you enjoy math or antenna design / optics / nano-tech / fusion etc if you enjoy physics.

I can confirm this is true. Every EE major I ever met was way smarter than physics and math majors.

Whenever i look up ee jobs locally it's always for some business's construction plans or infrastructure, I think there's a high number of ee entreprenueurs though. I thought physics was more difficult than ee? (More theoretical math) how many different branches of physics are there really? All i know is experimental and theoretical. My home state uni's have ee at one school and phys at another. I don't think i'd fit in well at the phys school.

that degree seems like a massive meme that is a half-assed jack of all trades but sucks at everything. perhaps its the most difficult physics/math wise though, but it just comes off as a meme when i look at all the coursework the average one does

It depends on the institution. Some EngPhys are accredited, some aren't. Toronto's & UBC's EngPhys is accredited, while Macmaster's program isn't. Most jobs in Engineering Physics require grad school, but EngPhys grads can still find jobs in Robotics, Software Eng., & other Engineering jobs.

Yes, has started a few years ago. They concentrate on nano-circuits and nano surfaces, but are basically EE, a little ME plus quantum mechanics.
