Why are scientis almost always portrayed by normies as chemists?
Almost all caricatures of scientists is of somebody holding a test tube, mixing two substances, boiling a little glass container, or being surrounded by chemistry apparati.
Graphic designers commonly depict a boiling test tube (or a microscope) to symbolise "science".
Did something in particular make chemists more popular?
