Can we have a serious discussion about what ASMR is how it works and its possible negative/positive effects?

For about 2 years I would listen to ASMR to relax, never getting the tingle feeling and I thought the feeling it gave you was just bullshit.. Similar to how everyone says they see DMT entities when in reality less than 10% do.. But one day suddenly I began getting the feeling and became addicted to it. After about a year I could no longer feel it. Fast forward to me becoming a stupid normie and using MDMA like the other normies; I found when I came home afterwards and listened to it I could focus and the tingle sensation was about 100 times more powerful, so powerful my body would shake which wasn't an effect of the drug because when I lost focus and lost the feeling my body would stop shaking. So anecdotally MDMA and ASMR must be acting on the same part of the brain. Recent studies show that ASMR releases oxytocin which is the hormone which plays some role in social bonding, which would make sense from my self testing.

I wonder if ASMR could damage the part of the brain responsible for the release of oxytocin in the same way MDMA can damage your serotonin receptors resulting in serotonin syndrome.

If anyone wants to try this would this is the video I would listen to and it would give me the feeling faster than any other video on youtube. https://youtu.be/0CwxN5mx7l4

As a side note I haven't been able to feel it in 6 years now and I've been totally sober since that time.
