area of square side 2 minus of area of half of circle radius 1 = result 1 (U shaped thing)
area of quarter of circle radius 2 minus area of half of circle radius 1 = result 2 (horn shaped thing)
subtract result 1 (u shape) from result 2 (horn shape)
If that doesn't make sense i'll try and do it in paint.
