/sci/, elaborate something for me:
Supposedly the diethyl moiety of LSD "sticks" to brain receptors forming a "lid" from the contracting shape the receptor makes.

Apparently, there are helices that surround the 5-HT2A receptor and "The L209EL2 side chain forms extensive hydrophobic contacts with residues in TMs III, IV, and V."
https://psychedelicreview.com/crystal-structure-of-an-lsd-bound-human-serotonin-receptor/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxjCSKMbZBASpecifically, the Leucine229 receptor on helix III is of particular interest. This may sound crazy, but what if certain amino acids are the key for a molecule like LSA to have similar potency to LSD? It would function like a "molecular amino acid crab cage", being big enough to let molecules in but trap molecules by bouncing them off amino acids bound to amino acid receptors adjacent to the 5-HT2A. This could explain why when LSA or 4-HO-DMT is taken with phenylalanine and BHB, there is an increase of potency to LSA by 30% and 4-HO-DMT by 3x. This would make sense because of the difference in size for dosage of each. So, would supplementing pure Leucine with the rest of the mixture:
>splash of Ketel One Botanically infused cucumber and mint vodka, supposedly has acetaldehyde>~.5mL of Anise extract (Anethole, edible ether)>1 drop of peppermint extract (menthol, vasodilation to counter vasoconstriction)>fair amount of freshly carbonated Mtn Dew Ice (CO2)>1 scoop of KetoLogic (Mango) BHB>1/4 packet of Great Value Dragon Fruit Energy Mix (phenylalanine)>LSA bitartrate water extract increase potency since phenylalanine and BHB do it? Or, maybe something else is the cause?
