Having trouble generating a formula for some code im writing. Basically I need to calculate a parabola. Given an attackers known position and the targets known distance, how can I calculate all the parabolas that will hit the target? The two inputs are force and angle with gravity being a constant. For example if 50 force at a 45 degree angle hits a target at 100 yards, obviously there are a lot of permutations of those two inputs that would hit the target (x zeros) with many different apexes (y zero).
